Your Impact

• Bridge the gap between Cisco’s central IT organization and the Silicon One engineering teams.
• Collaborate with IT to provision and manage compute infrastructure, networked storage, and virtualized environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of compute, storage, and networking systems.
• Develop and maintain custom automation scripts and tooling in Python and Perl to support semiconductor workflows.
• Ensure security and access control policies are enforced across systems.
• Partner with silicon development teams to understand evolving needs and improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Support engineers with debugging of infrastructure and EDA tool-related workflow issues.
• Own infrastructure-related data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of relevant IT training or certifications in server management, networking, and security (e.g., CISO, networking fundamentals).
• Managed and maintained Linux-based systems in production environments
• 2 years of hands-on experience with system administration responsibilities.
• Practical experience with operation and maintenance of storage systems
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Perl/Bash.
