Job Description:

In this role, you will join Intel’s development center in Haifa/PTK, part of Intel’s global organization responsible for designing next-generation CPU cores and SoCs using advanced process technologies.

As a Student, you will work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in CPU circuit design. You will support selected stages of the design flow, including circuit analysis, design implementation, and validation activities, while learning industry best practices and methodologies.

The team focuses on delivering high-quality CPU designs that meet aggressive targets for power, performance, and area. You will be exposed to real-world design challenges and state-of-the-art EDA tools in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in CPU circuit design and analysis under guidance
  • Support development and evaluation of logic and memory-related circuits
  • Participate in design reviews, debug activities, and design quality checks
  • Help analyze power, performance, and area trade-offs
  • Learn and apply Intel design methodologies and design automation tools

Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • At least 3 semesters until graduation.
  • Relevant courses are an advantage - such as digital logic, VLSI, MOS courses.
  • Strong interest in CPU architecture, logic design, or VLSI circuit design
  • Relevant coursework or academic projects are an advantage
  • Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
