Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering growth, ownership, and high engineering standards
  • Own the frontend architecture and technical direction of the platform
  • Drive the design and development of complex, data-heavy dashboards and real-time interfaces
  • Partner closely with product and design to turn complex ideas into intuitive user experiences
  • Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and scalable architecture
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with backend teams on API design and system integration

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience leading frontend teams
  • 6-7+ years of frontend engineering experience
  • Proven experience with React and TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (closures, async patterns, event loop, performance)
  • Strong experience with frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
  • Experience building complex, data-heavy or real-time applications
  • Ability to lead projects end-to-end and drive technical decisions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cypress / Playwright
  • Experience scaling frontend teams or leading major frontend initiatives
  • Close collaboration with product and design teams
