Emerson is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Student to join our Data Science team supporting advanced Industrial IoT and Big Data analytics solutions. In this role, you will contribute to real‑world machine learning applications across semiconductor, automotive, and electronics manufacturing. You will gain hands‑on experience across the full machine learning lifecycle while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Contribute to the exploration and application of machine learning solutions for semiconductor, automotive, and electronics manufacturing industries
• Work with both structured (tabular) data and computer vision use cases
• Support the full machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, evaluation, and deployment
• Assist in designing and implementing scalable and reliable machine learning infrastructure
• Help develop automated classification and prediction solutions using big data analytics and machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders across global teams

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Active enrollment in a B.Sc. or M.Sc. program in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Availability to work 3–4 days per week
• At least one year of remaining studies
• Proficiency in Python
• Interest or foundational experience in machine learning or data science (academic or self‑driven)
• Ability to attach academic grade sheets with your CV
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience in machine learning, data science, or generative AI (academic projects, internships, or personal projects)
• Previous experience as a software engineer or machine learning engineer
• Exposure to semiconductor or electronics manufacturing domains
• Familiarity with big data systems, analytics platforms, or production ML environments
