As a Back End Tech Lead at Cust2Mate, you will lead the development of our Retail Media platform to enable monetization of in-store digital touchpoints through advertising solutions, personalization and analytics services. You will collaborate closely with Cust2Mate’s software, data, and business teams to deliver advertising and analytics capabilities that transform how brands interact with shoppers inside physical stores.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of Cust2Mate’s Retail Media platform, enabling digital advertising, campaign management, targeting, measurement and data-driven insights.
• Lead API development and integrations with 3rd party Retail, Data Intelligence and Advertising systems for campaign management, ad delivery, targeting, and measurement.
• Participate in the creation of Cust2Mate’s Data Intelligence platform, gathering, processing, modeling and analyzing data.
• Work with product, software, data science, data engineering, analysts, UX and hardware teams to enhance our Smart Cart’s capabilities.
• Define and monitor system health metrics in support of production environments.
• Ensure an excellent user experience by applying best UX and data-driven practices.
• Optimize the system for performance, reliability and extensibility

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in software development with at least 4 years as an architect or tech lead.
• Strong technical background in software engineering and data integrations, performance optimizations and scalability, cloud service / serverless development.
• Hands-on development using TypeScript, and working knowledge of one of: C#/Java/Python.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Advantages:

• Prior experience in ad tech, martech or data intelligence domains.
• Prior experience developing one or more of: SSP / DSP / RTB / Ad Servers / CDP / DMP / Data Intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with web development, React.
• Familiarity with Azure, Kubernetes, NoSQL DBs, SQL, DWH, algorithm development
• Familiarity with Data Science tools and principles. ML, LLM integrations, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
