We’re looking for an
Automation Engineer to help take our automated testing capabilities to the next level. At Cloud Native team, Test Engineers are Quality Ambassadors and not Gatekeepers.
Our Test Engineers engage in every phase of the software development life cycle, advocate for the customer and have the skills to implement effective test strategies and E2E automation solutions.
Our Saas platform is moving fast and releasing to production every week (
100% automation testing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, develop and execute Java-based automation tests for functional, acceptance, system, performance of our real-time security product.
- Collaborate with R&D, PM ,Security and analytics teams improve testing approach and execution for the cross-functional Scrum team.
- Design and implement agile testing processes for efficient SDLC:
- Adapt existing Continuous Integration infrastructure to a team’s practice.
- Write, maintain, and improve automation tests for frontend, backend, and API’s Collaborate with team members to enable continuous testing and delivery.
- Develop and execute validation strategies for data flows and system behavior across cloud-based services, distributed data platforms, and real-time streaming architectures.
- Mentor junior test engineers in effective testing tools and strategies through informal training.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer in SaaS, security, or enterprise-grade products.
- Strong programming skills in Java, with hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of web applications, including client-server architecture, APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Proven experience working in SaaS environments, with a deep understanding of cloud-based systems and challenges.
- Experience designing and validating complex data workflows across cloud services (e.g., AWS), data platforms (e.g., OpenSearch, Single Store), data lakes, and real-time streaming systems (e.g., Kafka).
- Hands-on experience with containerized environments and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), including integration of automated tests into the deployment lifecycle.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to debug and solve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with Linux scripting and fundamentals.
- Experience executing load and performance testing (JMeter, Avalanche).
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
