About Port
At
Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum.
We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.
By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability.
As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.
About The Role
Port's platform opens the door to build solutions across different verticals and market segments. As a Product Solutions Lead, you will take a specific solution to market, working at the intersection of product, technical execution, and go-to-market.
Your job is to turn Port's platform into a concrete, market-ready solution for your vertical. You'll plan the roadmap and build hands-on, taking a specific offering from zero to one with high autonomy. You own everything from planning and technical implementation to go-to-market strategy and product KPIs. Over time, you become the person that customers, prospects, and internal teams turn to when your domain comes up.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the vertical: Own the roadmap, technical definition, and execution for your solution product offering, validating market fit through implementation and working directly with customers.
- Build the solution: Design and build the technical solution hands-on, including the architecture, configurations, and live demos that prove value to prospects and customers.
- Shape the narrative: Define positioning for your vertical through competitive teardowns and hands-on product knowledge. Create technical assets like guides, blogs, and solution narratives that help customers and field teams understand where Port fits.
- Bridge product gaps: Translate market needs and solution gaps into structured feedback for R&D, ensuring the platform evolves to support your solution's requirements.
- Enable go-to-market: Equip sales and success teams with training and technical assets, join customer calls, run demos, and tell the story of how Port solves real problems in your domain.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Technical Success).
- DevOps or Platform Engineering background: You understand the modern engineering stack (Kubernetes, CI/CD, Cloud) and the challenges developers face.
- Hands-on builder: Experience building and presenting technical solutions for customers. You understand the business context behind what you build, not just the technical implementation.
- Creative problem solver: Comfortable with ambiguity, you prototype quickly and iterate. You can take a generic platform capability and turn it into a specific, meaningful solution for a customer problem.
- Strong storytelling: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into stories that connect with technical and business audiences, and create clear technical content like guides, blogs, and demo videos.
- Self-starter with high operational autonomy: you define the path forward rather than waiting for instructions.
- Hands-on with AI: You actively use AI tools and agents in your own work and understand how they're reshaping the SDLC. You can build solutions around agentic workflows, not just talk about them.
