We’re looking for a DevOps Team Lead to own how engineering ships, scales, and operates in production.

This is a high-impact role at the core of our platform-combining deep DevOps ownership with the opportunity to help build and operate our next-generation AI platform and Agentic Development Lifecycle (ADLC).

You’ll lead a team of DevOps engineers (including off-shore), stay hands-on, and drive both operational excellence and the evolution of our platform toward data and AI-driven systems.

This role sits at the center of how Pango builds and scales its platform-impacting every production system and how every engineer ships code.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a DevOps team, setting a high bar for ownership, execution, and engineering excellence
• Own the reliability, scalability, and operation of our AWS-based, distributed production environment serving millions of users in real time
• Own how engineering ships to production - driving CI/CD, automation, and developer experience to enable fast, safe, and efficient delivery
• Establish strong observability, performance, and incident response practices across distributed systems
• Partner with R&D to support both production systems and evolving platform capabilities, including data pipelines, AI services, and agent-based workflows
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, including 2+ years leading teams
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, Lambda, networking, security, etc.)
• Proven expertise with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and production-grade distributed systems
• Experience operating and scaling high-availability systems in production
• Strong background in observability, monitoring, and system reliability
• Experience securing cloud environments (IAM, WAF, KMS, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
• Experience or familiarity with data pipelines and AI-driven systems (e.g., LLM-based services, agent-based workflows, or similar)
• Strong leadership, communication, and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
