Ness is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an exciting role in a leading organization.
The position involves managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services in a GCP environment, including handling systems, logs, and information security. The role includes ongoing collaboration with technology teams to design, implement, and optimize advanced cloud solutions.
Full-time position based in Jerusalem.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – mandatory
- Familiarity with ongoing maintenance of systems in a GCP environment – mandatory
- Experience working with work plans, Gantt charts, and management reports – mandatory
- Experience with IaaS configurations in GCP – advantage
- Experience with handling/backups/data transfers between environments of NoSQL databases, particularly Elasticsearch – advantage
- Experience working with a government landing zone – advantage
- Experience with Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring – advantage
- Ability to write and manage Log Sinks, Log Filters, and Logging Exports (e.g., to BigQuery or Pub/Sub) – advantage
- Knowledge of GCP IAM, service account management, and least privilege principles – advantage
- Hands-on experience managing GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters, including Node Pools, Cluster Autoscaler, and storage management (Persistent Volumes) – advantage
- Experience managing Cloud Storage (including lifecycle configuration and storage class management) – advantage
