We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled professional to join our team as a Network & Proxy Support Engineer. This is a hybrid role that combines networking, system troubleshooting, scripting, and DevOps practices. You'll be responsible for supporting and optimizing our proxy infrastructure, managing server performance, and automating operations to ensure reliability and efficiency across our systems.

You will play a key role in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting proxy systems, with direct exposure to code, automation, and infrastructure. This position requires a solid understanding of networks, scripting, and DevOps tools, as well as the ability to assist customers with technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and manage proxy systems to optimize network and data flow performance.
• Monitor system and network health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability stacks. Implement alerts and dashboards to proactively detect and mitigate service degradation.
• Write and modify scripts/code to automate network and system operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to proxies, networks, and server performance.
• Work with DevOps tools to manage and maintain server infrastructure.
• Analyse network traffic data and identify patterns to enhance overall system efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D and IT teams to improve system architecture and performance.
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of hands-on experience in networking, proxy systems, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python); experience with automation and CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms).
• Background in customer service/support is an advantage.
