Role Description

This is a full-time Software Team Lead role located in Tel Aviv, Israel. Reporting directly to the VP of R&D.

In this role, you will combine technical leadership with people management, driving architecture decisions, ensuring high-quality execution, and mentoring engineers to reach their full potential. You will be accountable for the team’s hiring, delivery, system reliability, and long-term scalability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, including hiring
• Own the end-to-end delivery of team projects - from planning to production
• Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to define priorities and translate them into execution plans
• Improve team processes, velocity, and engineering best practices
• Contribute hands-on to critical parts of the system when needed

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of software engineering experience
• 0-2+ years of team leadership (no prior experience required)
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience building systems on AWS and cloud-native architectures
• Ability to drive high-velocity execution through others, balancing speed, quality, and evolving priorities

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with LLMs and modern AI/ML workflows
• Bedrock, Vertex AI, RAG, Agents, etc.
• Background in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments
