Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at Nagish, you will play a pivotal role in shaping experiences that truly make communication accessible for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. You will work across the stack - designing, building, and maintaining features that turn complex communication challenges into intuitive, high-performance solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong product sense, who cares deeply about users, accessibility, performance, and scalable design.

On a Day-to-day, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions that power web and mobile products.
• Own features end-to-end: from understanding user needs and product requirements to architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to define flows, UX, APIs, and technical solutions.
• Translate high-level requirements into scalable, maintainable systems, including real-time and async interactions.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges across the stack, including performance, accessibility, and reliability.
• Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and the developer experience.
• Bring product-oriented thinking and propose improvements that have real impact on users.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Experience with modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Golang, or similar.
•  Proven ability to build complex, production-grade systems across the stack.
• Strong product mindset - understanding user needs, tradeoffs, and business context.
• Passion for accessibility, scalability, and high-performance engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive impactful technical decisions.
