So, what’s the job?
We are looking for a
Data Engineer to join Guardio’s Data group.
In this role, you will help shape and evolve Guardio’s data platform - designing the systems, models, and pipelines that power decision-making, product insights, and business operations across the company.
Beyond building reliable and scalable data infrastructure, you will also create data-driven automations and integrations that connect Guardio’s internal systems and streamline key business workflows.
This role offers the opportunity to work across engineering, analytics, and business teams to turn data into a core operational asset for the company.
You will:
- Take ownership of major parts of Guardio’s data platform, including architecture, modeling, and performance.
- Design, implement, and evolve complex data architectures and pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability of core data systems.
- Translate business and product requirements into well-designed data models, schemas, and interfaces.
- Develop data-driven automations and cross-system integrations that power operational workflows, such as marketing budget pacing automation, CRM enrichment, and other automated business processes.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven capabilities within data workflows to improve automation, monitoring, optimization, and data quality.
- Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, Marketing, and Analytics teams to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Sounds great! Am I the right fit?
You’ll likely be a strong fit if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or similar roles.
- A pragmatic, hands-on mindset with proven experience designing, building, and owning large-scale data platforms.
- Deep expertise in SQL and advanced data modeling.
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with data pipelines, orchestration, and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud-based data stacks (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with modern columnar data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
- Solid understanding of BI tools and analytical consumption patterns.
- Experience working with and integrating AI-powered tools into engineering workflows and day-to-day tasks.
- Experience building integrations or automations across business systems (CRM, marketing platforms, internal tools) — an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Why Guardio?
- Work on meaningful, large-scale data challenges in a fast-growing cybersecurity company.
- High level of technical ownership and real impact.
- Opportunity to shape and evolve Guardio’s data foundations over time.
- Collaborative, pragmatic engineering culture.
