Job Summary

The position is available in the Cloud team. The team delivers cloud software, an innovative, cutting-edge technology product in NetApp’s portfolio. As a software engineer, you will work as part of the R&D team. It is a fast-paced environment with frequent deliveries. You will primarily interact with your direct manager and the agile team on assigned projects and may communicate with employees in other functions as required. Regular and detailed direction is provided, as well as ongoing review of activities and priorities.

Assignment:

As part of a team, you will participate in technical discussions in which evaluating and executing design and development plans for products are reviewed. You will have direct influence on the decisions and outcomes related to project direction. We appreciate a willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.

Tech Stack:

We deliver SaaS services in AWS and GCP.

Development languages: TypeScript

Frameworks: Fastify, NX

Database: Mongo DB, MySQL, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, Redis

Development tools and methodologies: CI/CD, extensive automatic testing, agile development

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of TypeScript or NodeJS experience
• Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent degree program
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers to meet aggressive goals and meet high-quality standards.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Familiarity with basic concepts of computer architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices.

Advantages:

• Experience with performance testing, Scale testing
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
• Experience with Working on Cloud Environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
