Noca AI, a bootstrap AI integration startup, is looking for an AI-First Tech Lead to join the founding team and spearhead development. In this fully remote role, you'll be part of the core team, building the core infrastructure and platform from scratch.

This role is for engineers who actively use AI to build software not just talk about it. Your workflow should already include tools like Cursor, Claude Code Agent Teams and other coding agents.

90% of the code must be generated using AI tools, with engineers focusing on guiding, validating, and refining the output.

Speed matters, but production quality matters more.

Key Responsibilities

-         Build and ship systems using an AI-first development workflow, leveraging tools like Cursor, Claude Code Agent Teams (a must), and other coding agents as a core part of how you work.

-         Develop the architecture, development, and deployment of microservices-based solutions using Kubernetes and AWS Lambda within AWS.

-         Architect and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure through Terraform.

Lead backend development with Node.js, focusing on event-driven design, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.

-         Manage and optimize integrations with CRM, ERP, and payment processing systems.

-         Solve complex data problems by designing efficient data structures and processing pipelines.

-         Implement best practices for deployment automation and streamline cloud infrastructure processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, specializing in microservices and cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and the AWS ecosystem.
• Proficient in Node.js, with a strong focus on callbacks, promises, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Proven success integrating complex systems like CRM, ERP, and payment gateways.
• Experience in DevOps, with a focus on managing cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on position. If you're not building most of the time, it's not a fit.
