Phoenix Financial is launching an innovative AI unit within its Data Department, a forward thinking and technology-driven team at the forefront of AI transformation. This new unit will leverage cutting-edge AI and Generative AI technologies to develop advanced solutions that enhance business processes, decision-making, and client experiences.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and capable Data Science Team Lead who can take a complex business problem, analyze the data, develop a high-quality model and lead it to the production and monitoring stage.

What you’ll do?

• Leading a Data Science team and developing ML‑based high‑optimization models
• Developing end‑to‑end ML‑based data solutions: from the research phase, data source collection and mapping, EDA, feature engineering, descriptive statistics and preliminary analyses, algorithm selection, and model development and training according to ML and GenAI methodologies.
• Working with business stakeholders - translating business requirements into analytical solutions and presenting deliverables and insights.
• Driving cross‑functional collaboration - working in a matrix environment with analysts, BI teams, data teams, and business and technology stakeholders.
• Leading initiatives to improve ML/AI methodologies and workflows within the unit and across the organization.

What are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• One year at least of experience in managing a Data Science team
• Full proficiency in SQL
• Experience working with tools for managing the ML model lifecycle, such as MLOps and MLflow
