Job Description
Sweet Security is looking for an experienced
QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-native detection and response platform. You will design and scale our automation infrastructure, own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, and help maintain the highest engineering standards across our product.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Playwright-based automation frameworks.
- Own the full testing lifecycle: requirement analysis, test planning, execution, reporting, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Manage defects using Jira and Xray, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Perform backend validation using SQL and API testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high testability and continuous quality improvement.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation for complex web applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, including building frameworks from scratch.
- Strong coding skills in Python/TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js).
- Experience with Jira, Xray, SQL, and API testing.
- Deep understanding of automation design patterns (POM) and STLC.
- Strong analytical skills, ownership mindset, and passion for automation excellence.
