Phoenix Financial is launching an innovative AI unit within its Data Department, a forward thinking and technology-driven team at the forefront of AI transformation. This new unit will leverage cutting-edge AI and Generative AI technologies to develop advanced solutions that enhance business processes, decision-making, and client experiences.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and capable Data Scientist who can take a complex business problem, analyze the data, develop a high-quality model and lead it to the production and monitoring stage.

What you’ll do?

• End‑to‑end development of ML‑based data solutions: from the research phase, data source collection and mapping, EDA, feature engineering, descriptive statistics and preliminary analyses, algorithm selection, and model development and training according to ML and GenAI methodologies.
• Performing fine‑tuning of LLM models, including embeddings, vector stores, and RAG architectures.
• Deploying models to production in collaboration with ML Engineering, DevOps, and participating system development teams.
• Monitoring model performance (model drift), identifying deviations, and retraining models when needed.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and presenting deliverables and insights
• Leading initiatives to improve ML/AI methodologies and workflows within the unit and across the organization.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Full proficiency in Python and leading ML libraries.
• Full proficiency in SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI and LLM technologies - a significant advantage.
