AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2, to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

Key job responsibilities
Infrastructure & Automation
- Lead projects across multi-disciplinary environments, including large-scale CI systems, HPC, and EDA flows
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and best practices
- Develop infrastructure as code using Ansible and other automation tools
- Build and support large-scale, distributed infrastructure
Technical Leadership
- Work independently and collaboratively within an elite engineering team
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders at all levels
- Create clear, concise technical documentation
Basic Qualifications
- Linux & Programming
- 2+ years of experience with Linux systems (Red Hat family preferred)
- Professional-level proficiency in Python and Bash
- Working knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Tcl, Java, C++, Go, or Rust)
- DevOps & CI/CD
- Extensive experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Git and multi-repository management tools (Gerrit, GitLab, Repo)
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible
- Familiarity with distributed systems at scale
- Cloud & Containers
- Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Experience with cloud-native architectures
- Practical experience with Docker containerization
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS preferred)
- Monitoring & Networking
- Proficiency with monitoring solutions: OpenSearch, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki
- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, secure data transfer, network troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML tools, including agentic AI and LLM technologies
- Proven ability to manage projects across technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with HPC or EDA environments
- Contributions to open-source projects
