AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2, to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

Key job responsibilities

Infrastructure & Automation

• Lead projects across multi-disciplinary environments, including large-scale CI systems, HPC, and EDA flows
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and best practices
• Develop infrastructure as code using Ansible and other automation tools
• Build and support large-scale, distributed infrastructure
  
  

Technical Leadership

• Work independently and collaboratively within an elite engineering team
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders at all levels
• Create clear, concise technical documentation
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Linux & Programming
• 2+ years of experience with Linux systems (Red Hat family preferred)
• Professional-level proficiency in Python and Bash
• Working knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Tcl, Java, C++, Go, or Rust)
• DevOps & CI/CD
• Extensive experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of Git and multi-repository management tools (Gerrit, GitLab, Repo)
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible
• Familiarity with distributed systems at scale
• Cloud & Containers
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Experience with cloud-native architectures
• Practical experience with Docker containerization
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS preferred)
• Monitoring & Networking
• Proficiency with monitoring solutions: OpenSearch, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, secure data transfer, network troubleshooting
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML tools, including agentic AI and LLM technologies
• Proven ability to manage projects across technical and business stakeholders
• Experience with HPC or EDA environments
• Contributions to open-source projects
