We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join the Cato team. In this critical role, you will lead an excellent team and solve architectural and engineering challenges. You will be building highly scalable solutions, providing management common capabilities for multiple services and domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead an excellent team – through recruitment, mentoring, and day-to-day management
• End to End development from the processing of large-scale data to web interfaces
• Working closely with product management and automation team
• Performing ongoing research and prototyping for new features and product ideas
• Implementing and testing enterprise platform solutions
• Researching new technologies and adapting them for use within the company’s product
• Collaborating with multiple development teams
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of web development. We’re using Java, Go, Play framework, Spring boot, React, TypeScript, GQL, etc.
• 4-5 years of Java/Go server-side development
• Experience working on large monitoring and analytics projects - Advantage
• 2+ years of experience as a team leader with proven management experience leading a winning development team
• Architect, design, and develop a complex web application
• Experience with Networking protocols, mainly with layers 3-7
• Familiarity with NoSQL DBs and relational DBs. We’re using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and more.
• Experience in building and operating SaaS microservices with high scale and load in production
• Hands-on experience - MUST
• Experience testing services in continuous integration methodology
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing network systems - Advantage
• Hands-on experience in a cloud environment – required (AWS is an advantage)
• Motivated, a fast learner, independent, and great at problem-solving
• BSc. degree in Computer Science from a known university
