About The Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Internal Platforms team at Appdome. Our team builds and maintains the internal tools and services that empower Appdome’s R&D to deliver faster, safer, and more scalable products. You’ll contribute to evolving our SaaS platform into a distributed, microservices-based system that runs on Kubernetes and Docker in AWS.

You’ll design, develop, and maintain backend components, pipelines, and automation tools that streamline engineering workflows, reduce friction, and improve system reliability across Appdome’s CI/CD ecosystem.

Job Description

• Design and implement core backend and platform components.
• Develop microservices and automation tools that enhance delivery speed and improve the developer experience.
• Build and optimize Docker/K8s-based pipelines and environments.
• Integrate Appdome products and infrastructure with CI/CD and DevOps vendors.
• Work with QA and R&D engineers to define best practices for testing, automation, and observability.
• Own deployment automation and scaling for critical internal services.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues in a fast-moving environment.
  
  

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience developing backend systems in Python, Java, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating or working with AI tools in testing (e.g., GPT-based validation, test generation, or self-healing).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience building internal developer tools or CI/CD frameworks.
