We are seeking an experienced and visionary Development Manager to lead the Airborne Imaging Team within the ISTAR & EW Division in Rehovot
This team is responsible for the development of advanced airborne electro-optical systems for both fighter aircraft and strategic reconnaissance platforms, integrating cutting-edge hardware and software across multiple disciplines
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and production of a cutting-edge airborne imaging system, consisting of a multi-spectral electro-optical pod and an advanced ground-based mission planning and exploitation station
Make critical development decisions through multidisciplinary trade-off analysis
Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, from prototyping to full system delivery
Provide ongoing technical support to customers utilizing aerial imaging systems across various platforms and missions
Coordinate system development activities across matrix teams, including mechanical, optical, software, and system engineers
Requirements
B.Sc. in Engineering – required (Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, or related field)
Minimum 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary system development projects in the electro-optical domain
Proven experience with development and delivery of military-grade EO/IR systems
Strong system engineering background in hardware/software intensive programs
Experience with work plan creation and project budget management
Demonstrated technical leadership and system-level thinking
Ability to manage complex development processes in a matrix organization
