What you’ll achieve
As a Solution Engineering Product Owner, you will:
- Lead solution‑level planning and stakeholder alignment, acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, architects, program teams, and scrum teams to translate business goals into clear, technically grounded capabilities
- Shape the solution vision and capability roadmap, creating an executable, customer‑aligned vision and sequencing backlog items to ensure the highest‑value work is delivered first
- Own the execution plan and value delivery, tracking progress against capability goals, ensuring teams remain focused on the right backlogs, and guiding the effective flow of work through each sprint and release
- Ensure technical excellence and long‑term scalability, analyzing technology trends and customer requirements, incorporating Tech Debt, Enablers, and Automation into the capabilities backlog, and validating feasibility with engineering leadership
- Drive continuous improvement and cross‑team predictability, identifying dependencies, refining estimates, reducing risks, and improving team execution to increase value delivered per unit of effort
Essential Requirements
- 15+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 12+ years with a Master’s, in software development or system architecture, spanning technical product ownership or solution engineering in distributed systems
- Strong technical depth in distributed systems, storage, or infrastructure‑level software, with the ability to evaluate feasibility and technical impact at solution scale
- Proven experience operating in complex multi‑team engineering environments, including capability definition, cross‑team planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and translating complex technical concepts into clear capabilities, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience influencing architects, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders to align vision, drive execution, and ensure high‑quality delivery across distributed engineering teams
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes, file systems, protocols, and automated deployment practices
- Experience building and maintaining a large‑scale or enterprise‑grade solution in production
