We’re hiring a Director of Engineering to lead JFrog’s agentic capabilities across the platform, including the JFrog AI Assistant, MCP Server, and a rapidly expanding ecosystem of autonomous workflows. - Lead the engineering group delivering AI capabilities across the JFrog platform, powering customer-facing agentic experiences at scale
- Shape the vision and drive the execution for JFrog AI Assistant, MCP Server, and platform-wide agent workflows
- Ship enterprise-grade AI—secure, reliable, and observable—running in SaaS and self-hosted environments
- Define the quality bar for AI delivery, including evaluation, safety guardrails, and continuous improvement loops
- Stay ahead of LLMs, AI agents, and DevOps automation trends, translating innovation into platform differentiation
- Build and mentor high-performing teams and a culture of execution, automation, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product, Security, and engineering leaders to drive adoption and make measurable customer impact
To be a Director of Engineering at JFrog, you need...
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing diverse R&D teams
- Proficiency in Software Development: strong experience in building and managing scalable systems using languages such as Go, Python, Java, or Node.js
- Proven track record of delivering scalable cloud / SaaS services, operating in multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid-cloud environments
- Experience leading AI product (assistants, copilots, LLM-integrated workflows)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder, and customer management skills
- Passion for empowering developers and enabling productivity through platform engineering
- DevOps / DevSecOps experience — strong advantage
- Growth mindset, with continuous learning in AI and agentic technologies
