About your future job:

Are you a data engineer who enjoys building robust pipelines, working with geospatial and multi-source data, and shaping the foundation for AI-driven products?

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join Snapland’s R&D team and help build the next generation of our real estate intelligence platform and agentic workflows (Deep Research, Reports, and Alerts).

At Snapland, you’ll work on a modern data platform built on Azure, Prefect, Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), Parquet on ADLS Gen2, and Elastic Cloud, transforming complex real estate data into trusted, production-ready insights.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch/incremental data pipelines.
• Ingest and normalize data from APIs, documents, and geospatial sources into Snapland’s ontology.
• Implement data quality gates, validation, deduplication, lineage, and monitoring for reliable production workflows.
• Build and optimize serving flows into Elasticsearch and downstream application data stores.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, product, and data stakeholders to translate business needs into resilient data systems.
• Support cross-market expansion with reusable, robust, source-aware pipeline design.
  

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data platform development.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Prefect, Airflow, or similar).
• Strong understanding of medallion/lakehouse patterns and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with data lake storage and incremental processing patterns.
• Experience with search/serving systems such as Elasticsearch and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with data quality and observability practices (validation frameworks, lineage, monitoring, alerting).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership and collaboration skills.
  

• Experience with geospatial data processing and spatial joins/overlays.
• Experience with Great Expectations/OpenMetadata or similar tooling.
• Experience building data foundations for AI/RAG/agentic workflows.
• Exposure to multi-market, multi-source data normalization challenges.
  

• Build the data backbone of an agentic real estate workflow platform.
• Work on high-impact problems across data ingestion, quality, search, and analytics.
