The Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Storage Ecosystem team is looking for a motivated Intern with an interest in Kubernetes and virtualization technologies to join us in Ra’anana. In this role, you will contribute to KubeVirt and associated open-source projects to advance the state-of-the-art virtualization solution for Kubernetes. You’ll learn about the deep stack of technologies that we combine to run virtual machines alongside containers. As an Intern, you’ll design features and write code that will quickly be used by Red Hat customers worldwide. This long-term internship will allow you to work with cutting-edge technologies and deliver real value in a global engineering team.
What You Will Do
- Participate in the kubevirt open source community
- Work on storage-related features
- Demonstrate your contributions to the broader OpenShift Virtualization team
What You Will Bring
- 1+ years of experience writing code in Golang or a similar language
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) infrastructure and writing automated tests
- Able to comfortably work in a global team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2027 or 2028
- Must be available for the internship from May 2026 till April 2027
