Platform Team Lead

We are looking for a seasoned and execution-driven Platform Team Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will drive the evolution of our infrastructure and cloud operations, empowering our entire R&D organization. You will lead a high-caliber team of DevOps and Backend engineers, navigating strategic infrastructure migrations in a multi-cloud environment. You will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to accelerate critical business flows and set the standard for engineering excellence, cloud-native architecture, and operational scale. This role reports directly to the VP of R&D and operates in a global, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a strong team of 3-5 DevOps and Backend engineers fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Take end-to-end leadership and project management of large-scale cloud infrastructures and backend transformations, driving technical decisions, execution, and outcomes.
• Continuously modernize DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitOps, monitoring etc…) to drive efficiency, agility, and performance across the organization.
• Use AI-powered tools and agentic workflows to improve R&D efficiency.
• Design and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Our stack - Mainly GCP and AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Node.js, Golang

Requirements:

• Proven success record (5+ years) managing platform or DevOps teams in hyper growth tech companies - Must
• Hands-on and expertise in AWS and GCP production environments at scale - Must
• Hands-on and expertise in Kubernetes and managing large scale Prod+Dev environments - Must
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization - Must
• Experience in backend micro-services / API development - Must
• A proactive “Can-Do” attitude and a drive to build something new - Must
• Experience with multi-region/cloud deployments - Must
