We are looking for an experienced Cloud Services Group Manager to lead the design, development, and operation of our cloud platforms and services.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic ownership, cross-functional impact, and a key role in shaping out cloud platforms and service delivery at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Technical Leadership
- Own and evolve the cloud strategy and roadmap in alignment with products goals, strategy across the company, customer demands, and corporate direction.
- Act as a delivery owner, senior decision-maker on cloud-related architecture, policies, cost optimizations, overseeing agile execution, feature releases, and continuous deployment practices.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary org. including team leaders, system architect, FE/BE and QA team.
Cloud Architecture & Operations
- Oversee distributed, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems, primarily on Microsoft Azure, with readiness for multi-cloud evolution.
- Ensure cloud systems are resilient, monitored, and cost optimized.
- Lead architecture reviews and drive full lifecycle delivery, from design and development through maintenance.
- Ensure delivery and operational continuity through effective tools, monitoring, and automation practices.
- Drive adoption of Big Data technologies and frameworks that support data-driven applications and analytics.
- Partner with InfoSec, IT, and Compliance to enforce standards for cloud security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR).
Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Software Engineering, Embedded, and Data teams to ensure platform-level coherence and supportability.
- Represent the Cloud Services function in executive discussions, partner integrations, external engagements and customer-facing engagements.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university or college.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and engineering roles, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity, managing teams of 10+ developers in server-side or full-stack cloud applications.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a hands-on developer in C#/.NET for large-scale web/cloud systems.
- Hands-on experience in AI and machine learning platforms, model deployment, and data-driven services.
- Expertise in public cloud environments (Azure), infrastructure design, platform scalability, and security.
- Experience with Docker, microservices, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery workflows.
- Practical experience with cloud budgeting, cost management, and third-party service oversight.
- Proven experience in multi-project environments and managing dynamic work plans.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies- an advantage.
