Job Summary

As a Technical Enablement Engineer for Cortex Cloud, you are the architect of the "First Impression." You will bridge the gap between complex R&D breakthroughs and the sales field by building high-fidelity demonstration environments and tools. Your mission is to translate the vision of Product and Marketing into tangible, hands-on experiences that prove our cloud security dominance to the world’s largest enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demo Architecture: Architect and maintain end-to-end demo flows for the Cortex Cloud portfolio, ensuring they showcase differentiated value in cloud-native security.
  • Tooling & Automation: Design and develop custom tools, scripts, and lab projects that empower the global sales team to demonstrate complex product capabilities with ease and reliability.
  • Release Validation: Act as a "Customer Zero" by testing and providing critical feedback on new version releases, ensuring use cases align with real-world customer pain points.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to sharpen technical storytelling, ensuring our demos reflect the strategic vision and market positioning of the company.
  • R&D Collaboration: Deep-dive with Product and Research teams to understand upcoming capabilities and translate "bleeding-edge" features into actionable demonstration scenarios.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Cloud Security Domain: 3+ years of experience in cloud-native security, with a strong grasp of CNAPP, CSPM, CWP, ASPM, DSPM, and AISPM.
  • Technical Foundations: * Cloud Infrastructure: Expert-level knowledge of managing and deploying environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP using native consoles and CLI tools.
  • Networking & Systems: Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP), cloud networking (VPCs, Security Groups, Transit Gateways), and core OS administration for both Linux and Windows.
  • The "Builder" Mindset: Strong proficiency in Python and Terraform to build automation scripts, manage Infrastructure as Code, and develop internal tools for scenario deployment.
  • AI-Enhanced Operations: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-based tools and LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or custom AI agents) to streamline day-to-day coding, automate documentation, and accelerate operational workflows.
  • Product Intuition: Ability to take a pre-release product feature and "break it" or "build it" into a compelling story that resonates with security personas.
  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with the Cortex product suite or similar SOC/Cloud Security platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize feedback from the field and relay it effectively to high-level stakeholders in Product and Marketing.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Public Cloud Certifications: Professional or Specialty-level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • CI/CD Mastery: Experience building and securing pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
    • Front-end Basics: Basic knowledge of web frameworks (e.g., React or Vue) for building custom "demo cockpits" or dashboards.
