Why this role matters

We are advancing AI for communication for 6G and beyond. in this role you will design novel learning algorithms and build research prototypes that learn from live network conditions while respecting bandwidth, latency, privacy, and reliability constraints; powering use cases such as scheduling optimization, beam management, mobility robustness, anomaly detection, QoE improvements, and training as a service capability.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement and prototype distributed learning algorithms spanning UEs and gNBs, modeled on AWS servers, and tailored to real‑world cellular network constraints.
  • Contribute to the research cycle—hypothesis, design, experimentation, analysis and delivery of pilot‑ready prototypes in collaboration with senior researchers.
  • Define evaluation methodology and KPIs, and run controlled experiments to validate impact.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 in software/ML systems (or equivalent), which includes building deep learning training pipelines in Python/PyTorch.
  • Demonstrated expertise in distributed learning (research & prototyping) and in reasoning about trade‑offs across bandwidth, latency, compute and reliability.
  • LLM pre‑training experience is a plus.
  • Experience in digital communication protocols is a plus.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.


OR

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
