Digital Development Manager
We are looking for a skilled Digital Development Manager to join our team and take ownership of the development processes for our digital assets, including applications and websites, within the bank’s digital acceleration program. The role requires close collaboration with development teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, innovative, and scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all development processes for digital assets (applications, websites, and other platforms).
- Work closely with the vendor’s development manager to ensure alignment and progress.
- Provide technical, organizational, and professional support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Initiate ideas for innovation, functionality enhancements, and improved user experience.
- Report progress, timelines, and key risks to the program manager, escalating issues as needed.
- Monitor the implementation of decisions by development teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Supervise system design and development approaches, ensuring usability, scalability, and future-proof architecture.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to standards, as well as the quality of deliverables, timelines, and compliance with internal procedures.
- Oversee and coordinate testing processes, including acceptance testing (UAT).
- Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring and guiding development staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing the development of digital assets (applications and websites) for high-volume or multi-customer environments - Must
- Proven experience in managing development teams and parallel development processes - Must
- Hands-on experience with digital systems, microservices architectures, and CI/CD processes, including automated testing - Must
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, with understanding of Waterfall processes - Must
- Experience in quality assurance and acceptance testing processes.
- Strong analytical and system-level thinking skills.
- Experience working with users and external vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
