About The Position

We are seeking Data Team Leader to join our dynamic development team , in the Israeli site located in Caesarea.

You will be responsible for Collecting / Transforming / Storing / Querying a high volume of data ,as well as , Analyzing / Visualizing / Exporting data in different ways.

As the Leader of the team, you will oversee all the above and play a key role in decision making regarding the architecture and design of all these systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical excellence, architectural ownership, and people management.

You will mentor and lead a small team while remaining deeply involved in system design and critical development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on data-intensive systems.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role (Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Architect).
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with ETL processes, data modelling, and performance optimization.
• Ability to balance hands-on development with team leadership responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Big Data and streaming technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, HBase)
• Familiarity with AWS (Athena, S3, Kinesis…)
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a professional environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
