For the past 7 years HopOn has been working on a unique mobile payment solution for public transit which is already operational in a few locations.

Now, HopOn is growing and

looking for a talented and eager Senior backend Developer to join our team

in Ramat Gan.

Your primary challenge will

be to model, design and develop a performing, scalable backend system while

working in a small, experienced team.

So, besides you being a

people-person and a good teammate this is what we’re looking for:

• several years of experience in the development of backend applications and interfaces according to REST principles
• 3+ years of experience in Java server side (Spring, Spring Boot, Eclipse) - Must
• Hands on experience with SQL schema design, complex sql queries and query optimization
• Production experience with AWS – Strong advantage
• Experience with Git – Strong advantage
• Experience with unit testing and TDD - Strong advantage
• practical experience in agile software development methods

BONUS:

• Experience with NodeJS - server side development
• Experience with JavaScript - client frameworks (eg., AngularJS, Rest)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with the public transport domain
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience with developing the backend of a mobile app
