Frontend Team Leader – CoolAutomation

About the Role

CoolAutomation, a global leader in HVAC IoT solutions, is looking for a Frontend Team Leader to drive the development of our next-generation web applications — from large-scale customer portals to powerful internal dashboards. You’ll lead a talented team of frontend developers, define architectural standards, and ensure exceptional performance, scalability, and user experience across all products.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 frontend developers.
• Design, implement, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Define and enforce best practices for performance, code quality, and architecture.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.
• Drive UI consistency, reusability, and scalability across multiple projects.
• Contribute hands-on to complex features, optimizations, and integrations.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of state management, component design, and API integration.
• Experience with build/deploy pipelines and CI/CD workflows (Amplify, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring.
• Familiarity with AWS Amplify, Elastic, or IoT-based platforms.
• Background in responsive design and UX collaboration.
