Job Description

Job Purpose

Work as part of a small team of data analysts and engineers to develop and implement data management procedures, analytical tools, and methodologies that support the evolving needs of capital market trends and technical challenges. Contribute to automation initiatives, process improvements, and infrastructure development to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks end-to-end: from understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions, to supporting infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with the team to estimate effort, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Develop and implement methods and models for data cleansing, data visualization, and quality assurance.
• Build tools for visualization, analysis, research, and alerting systems tailored to the team’s requirements.
• Support the design and maintenance of infrastructure for a unified and organized development process, including workflows, guidelines, and release routines.
• Continuously analyze systems to identify weaknesses and propose technical solutions for optimization and improvement.
  
  

Knowledge And Experience

• BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Financial Engineering; MBA/MA in related fields preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data analysis roles such as financial analyst, data engineer, or data scientist.
• Proven experience in developing and managing data products and platforms, as well as building analytical tools.
• Strong interest and understanding of capital markets and derivatives, including operational mechanisms.
• Ability to design and implement effective processes for quality and performance checks.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (A must).
• Deep analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with in-depth knowledge of statistical models and their implementation.
• Independent, fast learner with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to recognize and analyse market trends.
