Role Overview
Design and lead advanced algorithmic solutions in the field of Computer Vision for industrial inspection systems.
This role includes responsibility for designing, training, deploying, and optimizing AI-based models for defect detection, measurement, classification, and visual analysis at very high accuracy levels.
The position combines research, product development, performance optimization, and technological leadership of the vision domain within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced Computer Vision algorithms for automated inspection systems.
- Design and train Deep Learning models (CNNs, Transformers, segmentation, detection).
- Lead end-to-end AI solutions from research to production.
- Solve problems in defect detection, metrology, alignment, OCR, anomaly detection, and classification.
- Optimize performance, latency, robustness, and scalability.
- Build data pipelines for training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and customer success teams.
- Select architectures, tools, and technologies for inspection solutions.
- Mentor and technically lead other algorithm engineers.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in Computer Vision algorithm development.
- Significant experience in industrial visual inspection systems.
- Deep knowledge of AI and Deep Learning for vision.
- Experience with models such as:
- Object Detection (YOLO, SSD)
- Segmentation (U-Net, Mask R-CNN)
- Classification
- Anomaly Detection
- Vision Transformers
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
- Strong Python skills; C++ is an advantage.
- Strong background in classical image processing: filtering, morphology, geometry, calibration.
- Experience deploying models to production.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership.
