Ever thought about leadership but don’t want to give up coding?

We’re opening a hands-on lead role for a senior engineer who wants to take their first step into leadership, without prior management experience and without leaving the code behind.

Browsi is looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer who's ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone who hasn't yet formally led a development team, but has a clear interest in leadership, enjoys mentoring others, and is motivated to grow into a team lead position. You'll combine hands-on development with increasing ownership over technical direction, people, and processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead a development team through design, development, and delivery of production systems
• Mentor engineers and continuously improve team workflows and engineering standards
• Take ownership of technical decisions, architecture, and code quality
• Design and build scalable solutions for high-traffic, performance-critical environments
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

• 4 years of experience as a Full Stack / Front-end / JavaScript Dev / SW Engineer- Must
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including a deep understanding of browser behaviour (DOM, event loop, performance)- Must
• Previous mentoring experience is an advantage
• Experience building modern client-side applications (Angular preferred)
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployments
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset
