Upspring.ai is building the AI creative intelligence platform for performance marketing teams.

We help teams understand what actually works in ads using deep AI analysis across creatives, competitors, and channels. We’re early, moving fast, and looking for our first full-stack developer to build the product with us.

The Role

This is a founding engineer role, not a standard dev position.

You’ll own features end-to-end, make technical decisions, and gradually take charge of major parts of the tech stack - working directly with the founder (CTO).

What We’re Looking For? A builder mentality above all

Someone who:

• Has at least 4 years of hands-on experience with full stack web development
• Ships end-to-end features independently
• Is comfortable with ambiguity and speed
• Takes ownership and initiative
• Thinks product, not just code

Responsibilities

• Build and own full-stack features (backend + frontend)
• Design and maintain Node.js services
• Build clean, scalable React UIs
• Work with MongoDB data models and queries
• Integrate with external APIs (ads platforms, billing, analytics)
• Work in a GCP environment (Cloud Run, jobs, queues, storage)
• Integrate and operate AI / LLM-based workflows

Good to Have

• Experience in early-stage startups
• Working with LLM / AI APIs at scale
• Async systems, queues, background jobs
• Experience with ads platforms or analytics tools
• Experience with search logic and relevance systems would be a strong advantage
