Role Description

This full-time position is for an on-site Development Team Lead role based in Raanana. The role involves leading a development team to design, develop, and implement software solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing software development projects, guiding team members, contributing to front-end development, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. The Team Lead will play a key role in driving the team's performance and fostering collaboration.

Technical Leadership

• Lead system architecture, design decisions, and technical strategy
• Write, review, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure code
• Drive best practices in coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Own technical delivery for major features or systems

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor developers across seniority levels
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
• Support career growth through coaching and performance reviews
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Delivery & Execution

• Plan and execute development work (sprints, milestones, estimates)
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and other stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and blockers
• Ensure timely delivery of reliable, maintainable solutions

Process & Quality

• Improve development workflows and engineering processes
• Champion testing, monitoring, observability, and reliability
• Promote documentation and knowledge sharing

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role
• Strong experience with modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, cloud-native systems)
• Proficiency in one or more core backend or frontend stacks (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Node.js, React, etc.)
• Solid understanding of databases, performance, and security
• Experience leading production systems at scale
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
