What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join us in building an innovative, AI-driven agentic product at scale. Development is just starting, and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the product from an early stage.

You will join a small team of senior developers, in designing, implementing and delivering a cutting edge agentic AI-product, for some of the largest corporations in the world.

You will work closely with the product, data, and operations teams to translate advanced AI capabilities into a reliable, scalable and performant system.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy a scalable AI-based platform, with public-facing APIs, a wide range of agentic tools in a high-stakes environment, using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize the system architecture, leveraging the latest AI capabilities, systems and best practices.
• Integrate AI/ML models and external AI services into production systems.
• Own data flows, model inference pipelines, and system performance.
• Ensure high standards for reliability and accuracy, through rigorous agent evaluation methods & tooling.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend or fullstack development.
• Hands-on experience integrating or building AI agentic systems
• Yes, this is a new field, but some experience is required.
• Practical experience in working with modern development environments (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, AI-based code review tools, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of the AI landscape, including models, products, inference pipelines, context management, embeddings, etc.
• Experience in working with cloud environments. (AWS)
• Experience in design and architecture within high-security systems. (e.g. SOC2 compliant or similar)
• Strong system-design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in complex prompt development & evaluation - advantage.
• Experience with modern agentic frameworks (e.g. Langchain, Langfuse, promptfoo)- advantage.
• Experience with agentic evaluation processes including LLM-as-a-judge, dual-control flow, code based grading, etc.
