Location: Caesarea area, Israel (on-site / hybrid as required)
Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong, proven experience who will take end-to-end ownership of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment processes.
This role is ideal for a DevOps engineer who has worked as a one-person DevOps function (or in very small teams) and is comfortable being responsible for the full stack – from Linux servers and AWS architecture to automation, monitoring, and production stability.
You will work closely with R&D, Product, and QA teams, supporting customer-specific deployments and managing environments that include cloud, hybrid, and edge-to-cloud data flows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full DevOps lifecycle across development, staging, and production environments
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple customers and environments
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Manage and operate AWS environments (multi-account, production-grade)
- Maintain and operate Linux-based systems (hands-on, daily work)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
- Support edge-to-cloud integrations, including customer networks pushing data into AWS
- Work closely with R&D and QA to enable smooth releases, rollouts, and customer deployments
- Enforce best practices around security, reliability, and scalability
Requirements (Must Have)
- 3–7 years of hands-on DevOps experience in production environments
- Strong, proven AWS experience – mandatory
- Not just familiarity: several years of real, hands-on work with AWS services
- Strong Linux experience – mandatory
- Hands-on system administration and daily work (not theoretical knowledge)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments (ECS/EKS – advantage)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
Strong Advantages
- Background in startups (especially early or growth-stage companies)
- Experience working as a one-man DevOps / sole DevOps owner
- Experience with AWS IoT / IoT Core and/or AWS SageMaker – a big bonus
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem / edge → cloud)
- Experience supporting customer-facing infrastructure or SaaS deployments
- Familiarity with AWS cost optimization, tagging, and multi-account best practices
