Physics Student

We are looking for a student to join the physics group in our R&D center, Haifa, Israel.

The physics group is leading an effort to develop a new field of research: Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) dosimetry and treatment planning.

As a student, you will support the research activities of the group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform numerical simulations of TTFields interaction with the human body.
• Help to develop algorithms and codes to support the simulation infrastructure.
• Participate in the analysis of simulation results.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Qualifications:
  
  

Bachelor's degree student, preferably in Physics / Electrical engineering / Biomedical engineering / Computer science.

• Knowledge:

• At least 1.5 years remaining toward a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or At least 2 years remaining toward a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering field.
• Available for at least 20 weekly hours.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Team-player.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
• Experience with finite element method (FEM) simulation software is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Python is an advantage.
