Physics Student
We are looking for a student to join the physics group in our R&D center, Haifa, Israel.
The physics group is leading an effort to develop a new field of research: Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) dosimetry and treatment planning.
As a student, you will support the research activities of the group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform numerical simulations of TTFields interaction with the human body.
- Help to develop algorithms and codes to support the simulation infrastructure.
- Participate in the analysis of simulation results.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree student, preferably in Physics / Electrical engineering / Biomedical engineering / Computer science.
- At least 1.5 years remaining toward a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or At least 2 years remaining toward a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering field.
- Available for at least 20 weekly hours.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Team-player.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
- Experience with finite element method (FEM) simulation software is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Python is an advantage.
