Description
As a Silicon Validation Engineer on the CAD Team, you will deliver high-quality infrastructure for automating silicon validation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills to navigate the different problem spaces, system interoperability expertise to integrate diverse validation tools and environments, and software engineering proficiency to develop scalable automation solutions. Your responsibilities will include working with cross-functional teams, architecting and deploying validation tool chains, developing data analysis frameworks for silicon test analysis, and creating innovative software solutions that advance our validation capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with enterprise Linux environments.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Perl, Rust, and C/C++.
- Track record of delivering software projects using ticketing and VCS (e.g., git).
- Strong knowledge of software engineering topics such as GUI, full-stack, design patterns, programming paradigms, database, and testing.
- An understanding of GPU / PMU / CPU / SOC architecture and micro-architecture
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well within a global team and be productive under tight schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with silicon validation.
- Experience with EDA tools and coverage methodologies.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog / Verilog / VHDL.
