One of Annapurna Labs product lines is the AWS Nitro SoC - a custom system-on-a-chip that delivers high performance virtualization, security, scalability and hardware acceleration capabilities optimized for AWS cloud infrastructure and services. It helps power the latest EC2 instance types from AWS.

Key job responsibilities

The Nitro core software team supplies the first software envelope that drives the Nitro SoC and it's surroundings. As part of this team you will get the chance to design, develop, test and deploy changes to the Nitro software that contribute to the operational excellence of one of the key hardware interfaces of the Nitro SoC - PCI express. Students that join the team would have the opportunity to work directly with custom hardware and firmware, gaining experience in systems engineering and computer architecture, solve challenging technical problems while learning from senior engineers who are experts in their field.

Basic Qualifications

  • University student studying Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / or similar (BSc) (with at least 3 semesters left before graduation).
  • Available to work 2-3 days weekly from the office
  • Proficiency coding in C

  • Understanding of embedded systems
  • Team player, excellent at multitasking and independent learning
