We are looking for a Lead Infra Automation Engineer to take technical ownership over our automation infrastructure, drive engineering excellence, and set a high bar for code quality and scalability.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on coding background with at least 7+ years of experience in Python 3, including type annotations and writing production-grade code.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for UI automation (Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automation infrastructure, not just writing test cases.
• Deep debugging skills across backend, frontend/UI, system-level, and distributed environments.
• Experience working at admin/system level on Windows and Linux.
• Experience testing and validating products across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, and reliability.
• High standards for code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about building reliable, elegant automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Take technical leadership and ownership of the Infra Automation domain, including architecture, design, and best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks for end-to-end testing across backend, UI, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint security sensors.
• Lead by example with high-quality Python and JavaScript code, including design reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
• Own and drive code reviews, enforcing clean code, testability, maintainability, and performance standards.
• Maintain and evolve our large-scale E2E testing system on AWS, spanning multiple operating systems and environments.
• Design and execute complex regression strategies to ensure product quality at scale.
• Expand and manage the testing matrix (Windows, Linux, macOS, network appliances).
• Debug and resolve complex issues across backend, UI, OS-level, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, DevOps, and Product to ensure reliable, high-quality releases.
• Mentor engineers from a technical standpoint and help raise the overall automation engineering bar.
