LayerX is seeking an experienced software engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams. The role involves software design and development of complex security capabilities end to end on endpoints, mostly backend components, and being a strong owner of a complicated cloud-native microservice architecture that protects millions of different web browsers across dozens of enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complicated security capabilities end to end on the endpoint, components of the system to defend against evolving web-based and desktop threats
- Take ownership of a mission-critical production system that safeguards millions of web browsers globally, ensuring the security of enterprise customers and their data
- Be part of our architecture and design forum and contribute to key decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Product Management, and Security Experts, to deliver robust and scalable solutions
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and adherence to best practices in software development
- Deep dive into the fascinating world of web and browser security
- Work closely with account managers to maximize value delivery to our customers
- Release code sometimes several times per day with our advanced release management system
- Be part of a growing team of engineers who enjoy working together on hard engineering and security challenges
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience developing cloud-native microservices
- Experience working with cloud vendors: AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience working with Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps
- Ability to debug and optimize complex systems to ensure high performance and reliability
- Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions to enhance user satisfaction
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language
- Experience working in a scrum team and in an agile environment
- Self-driven, proactive, and resourceful, you seek challenges
Advantages:
