Job Description

As a Frontend Engineer – WOW, you'll build and maintain innovative, visually stunning web experiences that redefine industry standards. You'll collaborate with a talented team to create cutting-edge visuals, content, and motion-based products that millions of Wix users worldwide will adopt. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Build and maintain complex, pixel-perfect media components using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and React
• Implement and fine-tune web animations using native browser APIs like CSS transitions, SMIL, Web Animations API, and WebGL
• Develop features that drive visuals and motion: parallax, filters, masks, custom effects, and responsive media
• Optimize for performance and visual stability, using deep knowledge of the rendering pipeline
• Explore and adopt emerging browser capabilities and W3C standards; build polyfills or custom libraries when needed
• Collaborate with multiple teams across large codebases and repos, influencing product, UX, and engineering decisions
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development, ideally working on rich, interactive web experiences
• Proficient with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, DOM APIs with a strong foundation in web fundamentals
• Familiar with graphic/media DOM elements & APIs: image, video, canvas, SVG, JS event loop & rendering pipeline
• Comfortable navigating large-scale codebases and cross-team collaboration
• Excellent communication and self-management skills
• Fluent in both English and Hebrew (spoken and written)
