Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance backend and full-stack systems, with a strong hands-on approach.
•  Take an active role in hands-on development, serving as a technical anchor and example for the engineering team.
•  Drive technical decision-making and define best practices for code quality, performance, scalability, and reliability across the organization.
•  Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and monitoring.
•  Proactively tackle unfamiliar technical areas and challenges, demonstrating curiosity and the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
• Design and oversee advanced testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including performance, scalability, and reliability bottlenecks.
•  Define and implement observability, monitoring, and performance metrics across systems.
• Research, evaluate, and introduce new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve the platform.
•  Work closely with product managers, leadership, and key decision-makers to shape and lead the company’s technological vision.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer support to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and drive real impact.
• Our tech stack includes TypeScript, React, Node.js, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and containerized systems on AWS (Docker, Kubernetes).
  

•  Strong hands-on engineering background: 7+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer, building and maintaining production systems at scale and owning complex systems end to end.
• Experience as a Tech Lead or Architect on complex systems — advantage.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, scalability, performance, and security considerations.
