Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer, based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, with the option of working from home part-time. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows. Key tasks include developing and managing data models, building ETL processes, supporting data warehousing needs, and providing analytics insights to stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making will also be an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in designing, architecting, developing, and implementing end-to-end data solutions.
• Experience in building a Data Warehouse (DWH) from scratch – including data modeling, loading processes, and architecture.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS/AZURE based data technologies.
• Experience in building and maintaining advanced data pipelines from various data sources.
• Significant experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure, information security, and cloud architectures.
• Experience working with clients/business teams – including gathering requirements and leading the technological solution.
• Familiarity with common BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
• Experience with scripting/coding languages such as Python.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and strong initiative.
• Familiarity with advanced architectures such as Data Lake or Data Mesh.
• Innovative thinking, ability to solve complex problems, and a proactive technological approach.
