The Team You'll join a lean, high-impact engineering team building a scalable AI engine that processes millions of construction plans to construct a comprehensive construction knowledge graph.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend services for processing construction drawings and technical documents.
• Make design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion.
• Build robust APIs for model inference, document ingestion, and results delivery
• Develop efficient data pipelines for preprocessing drawings, extracting features, and managing model inputs/outputs
• Implement model serving infrastructure supporting OCR engines, computer vision models,

and generative AI systems .

Technical Expertise:

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Python or Go - Must.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka) Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
• Proficiency or strong interest in using AI-enabled developer tools to enhance architecture and engineering workflows.
• Degree from a recognized university or equivalent Army experience.
